45 years!

Today's a scorcher in the Seattle area.  Record temp everywhere.  Today's supposed to be the hottest.  According to Yahoo, the temperature for Shoreline (where we live more or less) is 97 and it's hotter in Seattle; the city limit is only a few miles south of here.

Most people don't have any kind of air conditioning here but more than there used to be.  This heat has been around for over 3 days.  Everybody is tired of it!  We have no air conditioning but it's pretty comfortable in our downstairs office with the box fan going.

But this picture was taken last Tuesday right before the big heat hit.  We wanted to sit outside (for COVID reasons).  Our favorite 'nice dinner' place is Anthony's HomePort on the water in Edmonds.  Our outdoor table was in the shade and it was a little chilly.  I put on my sweater.  We always walk around outside afterwards and I asked a passerby to otake out picture.  I'm clutching too much stuff and I still have the sweater on.  We always enjoy our dinners there.

45 years, what can you make of that?
