It doesn't snow that often in Seattle but, when it does, everybody freaks out. The whole place falls apart. In general, they don't plow and the snow melts and refreezes. So nobody can get out of their street.
Cliff Mass, as discussed earlier, is the Seattle weather guru, had predicted 4-6 inches of snow. Aaack, all freak out. The storm has developed as he predicted though a little later and it's been approx 8-11 inches of snow.
The obligatory picture of snow in my back yard. It started Friday night; it's now Sunday afternoon.

Break here as we lost out power. Estimate was 8 pm but it came back within the hour. Whew! I do have a gas stove and, after a lot of fuss, Dennis got the gas fireplace going.
Temperature now above freezing. Supposed to be 42 tomorrow. If it rains, the snow will go away.
I did not get done what I wanted today which was to catch up with my classes after my disruption last week. I did make the dinner as most of my ingredients were out and I wanted to get that done while it was still light.
Suzie and Megan are going to Hawaii on Wednesday. What a great idea! I'm there!
