Got my first vaccine today

This morning, Dennis and I went the small town of Snohomish and had our first dose of the COVID vaccine.  In our case, it was the Moderna vaccine.  We have an appt 4 weeks from now for the second dose.  

Why did we go to Snohomish (about 30 miles away)?  When I was first lookin for an appt, it was frustrating for sure.  But my friend Lee gave me a hint.  Western Washington Medical Clinic was giving out appts but you had to be fast.  So I jumped on it.  I had been to this clinic before.  Their main location was in Silver Lake area maybe 10-12 miles north.  They also have a location in Snohomish.  But Silver Lake was easier, right?   About a week later I got an email, saying my appt had been switched to Snohomish.  So it was Go To Snohomish or Go Home.

So we went to Snohomish.  We could do that.  The clinic was reasonably well organized as long as you didn't need to understand every step.  Lots of white old people there.  Like us, I guess.
