Farm Update

I can see that gardening involves hard decisions.

The top picture is my farm overall.  I have some beautiful (except for the mildew) squash plants with large satisfying leaves.  And they made satisfying squash flowers and the cutest itty bitty yellow squashes.  So so cute.  But, they got an inch or two long and ... nothing.  And, as my friend Kollett warned me, they started to rot.

Yellow squash is not working for me,  The various squash plants take up a lot of space.  And what have they done for me lately?  I mean I would love some yellow squash but I just don't think they're coming through for me, ya know?

The second picture is a very promising part of the farm.  The herb portion,    My parsley plant has gone bonkers!  The oregano is spreading around.  Even the basil and cilantro are looking good.

This is what I'm thinking.  Corporate reorganization.  I can't wait any longer for the squash plants.  Some bolting bok choy has got  to go too.  Though I got some nice leaves off those plants.  I'm not even that thrilled with my snow pea plant.

In with some groovy fall lettuce, spinach and scallions.  Some fall crops.  Yes I did go to Sky Nursery and they had wonderful selection.

With such a  limited amount of space, I have to make hard choices.
