A little canine beefcake

Last night, our friends Perry and Laura came over for dinner and we sat and laughed and told stories until early midnight.  Fun!  Laura gave us a calendar from Pasado's Safe Haven, an animal rescue place out in the country where she volunteers.  Look at Mr. June!  Jake Garrison!  Apparently you could bid at the fundraising auction to have your dog photographed by a special animal photographer to be included in the calendar.  Laura came home from the option and ruefully said that maybe she spent more than she intended at the auction.  As we all have done.  She won the auction for Mr. June and there's one of their dogs, Jake, all cleaned up and looking good.
