OK, we will finish up with our Finnish Mongolian travelogue movie on Friday. We have managed to see 5 movies in 5 days and all of them at Shoreline. Why kill yourself going into downtown Seattle or beyond? Tonight we saw "The Extraordinary Journey of Celeste Garcia," a Cuban romcom with an alien twist starring a 60 year old overweight actress. Trust me, it was very sweet and funny, we really liked it. Monday we saw a French bug children's movie and a documentary about the Apollo Theater. Before that we saw a very odd documentary about an odd subject, mammoth public buildings in Soviet Bloc countries. And the German ensemble piece, maybe my favorite that I wrote about earlier.
But that's SIFF for you. We buy a 'six pack' to see six movies and they're always no-flow. Maybe because I'm the one who picks out the movies. Dennis always goes along with them.
