Some supplementary pictures for my project
Part of my Old Sanctuary project include short essays about my own experiences. So far, I have four.
But some of this is presented to folks not familiar with Judaism an its current practices. This morning, I went to Saturday services with the idea of taking some shots of things that I was finding difficult to demonstrate.
Also my mothers yahrzeit (anniversary of her death). Six years.
So these shots are
1. a rabbi in the front of the congregation wearing a prayer shawl (tallit)
2. he area on your way in where one can borrow a kipa (head covering) or a tallit. I don't.
3. the guard at the entrance.
