Birthday dinners for Dennis

This week both Danny and Susanna (our two oldest adult children - and currently the only ones in town) hosted us for dinner in honor of Dennis' birthday.  Monday night, Megan and Susanna had us over to their apartment.  They decided to move it to their house because they have ESPN and U Oregon was playing the national championship football game.  Go Ducks!  Unfortunately the Ducks did not get going so well against Ohio State.  At one point we thought that the Ducks were doing much better if Susanna was in the kitchen cleaning up but that didn't work after awhile.

Megan made delicious chicken tacos with home-made tortillas.  I really like the radishes in them.  We augmented with home-made guacamole.  I brought the special lemon pie for dessert.

The next hight we went over to Jessica and Danny's apartment where Danny made a very fancy dinner (pictures) with bacon-wrapped steak, big shrimp on skewers, twice baked potatoes and grilled asparagus.  Jessica made an eclair cake for dessert.  Delicious!

Fun with doggies all around!  We really enjoyed the hospitality.

Went for a new swim class at Shoreline pool (refugees from Montlake Terrace).  I'm so sore!
