I'm home now so the pictures can commence. There are definite drawback of trying to blog on a tablet. It took Dennis and I quite awhile to figure out to get it to work at all.
But back to the wedding, remember the wedding? I was tempted to put up some flower girl pictures but really, a conventional wedding has to start with the bride walking down the aisle.
And this is a lovely picture of just how it was supposed to be, sort of. The main absolutely most important thing is that Janine is walking down the aisle of her wedding on the arm of her Uncle Jerry. Both looking pleased as punch. That was what was supposed to happen. With all of the trimmings. Beautiful dress, bridal bouquet, tux,
Now, as you may remember, this wedding was supposed to be outside in a lovely garden gazebo. Instead, well, it looks like an elementary school gym because it IS an elementary school gym.
And they were darn lucky to have it. The groom's Auntie Dawn, the pastor's wife, moved mountains to procure it. Not asking anybody's permission especially not the bride's. No fooling around, something needed to be done and she went ahead and did it. It was rainy and windy like a monsoon outside.
Thank you Auntie Dawn, the hero of the wedding.
That's the elementary school principal filming the wedding in the doorway.
Janine's face looks a little distorted because she is wearing a veil over her face. Actually, that was a gorgeous veil obtained by Ilana the day before at deep discount. It looked perfect.
