Photoessay #2878 - Cold cold Yale
My cousin Mary Ann and I standing on the steps of the Sterling Memorial Library last Thursday morning in New Haven. Despite the bright sun, it's very cold, temp in the teens. I'm scrunched up as I had not zipped up my coat (mistake!) and I'm trying to hold it around me. I'm wearing my warm UW hat (and glad to have it at that moment).
I joked to my brother that we bought Southwest Airlines tickets so we could cancel if the weather was bad. And we went anyway. Actually the very cold temperatures didn't really affect us much. We did everything we wanted. A little snow when we arrived and a little when we left. But clear and cold the rest of the time.
Very chilly walk through that cemetery. Picture taken by my brother Charlie.
