Photoessay #2852 - Yerushalayim

So, my UW class for next quarter suddenly got cancelled.  Just like that...boom.  Plus, being an access student, I don't have standing because, as of right now, I wasn't in it.  Medical leave by faculty member.  I had spent $50 on books plus made arrangement, blah blah.  Plus my friend was taking it with me and she had set up her other commitments around it blah blah?

Everyday Live in 19th Century America, that's what I was going to take.

So now what?

There had been another class given by a visiting professor, Shalom Savar who was giving an Art History/Jewish studies class called Return to Jerusalem in Mercy; the Messianic dream in visual arts and culture.  I heard him speak in the Jewish version of Ted Talks and I would really like to take his class.  Problem MW 2:30-4:20.  That gets me home pretty late especially if I'm going to Parent Group.  But I don't have to go all the time now.

Most of the classes are full, shall I try this?  I could leave something in the crock pot, I should be home by 5:30.  I'm aware that being home at dinner time is important for my marriage and it seems like I go out somewhere just about every evening.  Really, it's pretty disruptive.  But this next Monday is Theo's class, Tuesday, I promised to go to a team meeting plus speak at the Redmond group.  Wednesday, I promised to be at another team meeting at 5:45 fairly near the University.  I'm not doing very well cutting out the night commitments.

I'm not going out tonight!

I had planned to go to the university today but since I'll be there on Monday.  Now I'll be back on the quad which is more convenient.  We'll see.  Things change, we can handle it.

Next week in Jerusalem!
