Photoessay #2827 - Ilana's Hanukah

We've been low key about Hanukah this year.  I never did find any foil-covered chocolate coins.  But the candles have been lit most nights.  Except the first night when I didn't quite catch on.  Or last night when I had to leave early for Parent Group.

I'm giving up my senior rep position in the Seattle group at the end of the year.  Whew, about time, I've been running that group FORever.  You have to give up your leadership position if you want to develop new leaders.  Both of my co-reps  Bebette and Tess agreed, we need to get a GUY.  I agreed, one of our many strengths is that we have a lot of dads in the group.  So congrats to Peter who will take over my rep position the first of the year.

I have appointed myself to the 'honored rep' position.  Close to 13 years.

I'm featuring Ilana who is lighting hanukah candles somewhere in Lafayette, Indiana.
