Photoessay #2017 - Harstene Island again

A group of us (Me, Dennis, Grandma Anne, Danny, Naomi, Melina, Teddy, Maddie) went to the picnic on Harstene island this afternoon.  Six people, two dogs.  For discretionary reasons, we chose to take two cars.  However I drove with Maddie there and I have to report that she was great, stayed in the back seat and no yapping.  We traded dogs on the way back and everybody got home with their nerves intact.  As far as I know.

Beautiful day out there on Pickering Passage.  Picture shows Danny (my oldest son) and Naomi (my youngest daughter), Melina (my granddaughter) and Teddy down on the rock beach.  Melina likes to turn over rocks and then scream at the little crabs scurrying around.  Teddy just wants Danny to throw the ball into the water so he can swim after it.  Maddie has got to be in there or just outside as Danny kept her with him the whole time under strict instructions not to take her off the leash.

Nice time...
