Photoessay #2108 - My latest New Haven gig
Sunday Theater District Downtown Tours
My latest idea.
See, I'm planning a trip to new Haven in mid October. I would like to meet with Colin Kaplan, an architectural historian. He knows a lot about Charles Weil, my great great grandfather. He's the one who told me the location of Maier Zunder's house (still standing). A busy guy.
He also coordinates these restaurant tours. So, I'm thinking,
maybe we can go on one of these tours, maybe I would be able to get
more of his time. You know, become a client, buy the product. There's
one planned for October 14. Sunday afternoon foodie tour through the
historic downtown area. I ask my cousin if she knows about them. She
says, yes she has and she's always meant to to go.
Deal! I invite her and her husband to go, our treat. I haven't quite figured out how to buy the tickets but I will. Then I'll contact him and try to set up a meeting.
This trip's getting pretty busy, that's good.
I'm rewriting by UCSC piece. Especially, the beginning, middle and end. Other than that, it will be exactly the same.
