Photoessay #2007 - Parfait!

Yesterday Danny and Melina came by. Danny did some carrying around chores but, unfortunately, the cat dander started getting up to him and he couldn't stay long. I've had these parfait glasses forever and I never use them. I decided to give it a try; Melina liked the idea and she ended up making them. The layers were cut up strawberries, blueberries and greek yogurt. The grated chocolate on top came from some 'medicinal' Dove chocolate easter eggs I bought to buoy our spirits after our minor car accident. We ate these for dessert. One change would be to maybe layer some chocolate syrup in as I didn't think they were sweet enough.

Melina enjoyed playing fetch with Teddy (Teddy loved it too, fetch is the BEST), drew on our white board. I brought her home as I was going to Redmond anyway to do my "Excerpts from a Journal" program at the Redmond Changes group.
