I know it's still early but spring is showing in my neglected yard.
In the Puget Sound, spring lasts a long long time. Sometimes, it never quite gets into summer at all. But the weather is cool and things start blooming. Soon, the rhodies will come out which adds brilliant color all around the region.
Daffodils come first. Somehow I never quite think we appreciate them enough. Mine have fallen down a bit as they started to open up and then it snowed.
I'm feeling that maybe, just maybe, I could be improving from this cold. I haven't been sick for a week in years. I'm still not showing up for events. So, for those close to me, I will start showing up any day now.
