Photoessay 1977 - Something green and warm
So the cold finally caught up with me. Sneezing and coughing, can't concentrate. I did put together the epilogue for my Maier Zunder paper but that's about it in the production department. I've already bailed out the speaking event I was going to help out at tonight. I do want to finish reading some of those 1878 papers but its freaking snowing out there. I could go out to UW Bothell or Bothell public library where the microfilm readers are. Surely, I'm the only using them right now.
The dog is antsy, he wants to do SOMETGHING!
So I wanted something warm. Aha, how about some Hawaii pictures? Sounds warm. So a picture from the Waipi'o valley, a side trip taken December 2010 on the sibling trip to the Big Island. An anicent taro growing valley on the coast. You have to take a special trip town there. Some small taro growers, little farms, just a different view into an ancient culture and those who are trying to keep it going not by interpretational exhibits but by actually growing taro.
This was a creek that ran through that curious valley.
