Photoessay #1925 - Picture of Irwin and Gertrude
My cousin found this picture of our grandfather Irwin Baumann and his sister Gertrude in her basement probably from my grandparents house. I took it and had it reframed. It looks good! We have a really great art restoration place right nearby. Pricey but they are great. I had so much fun with the person there picking out the frame and the matting colors.
There was the matter of me sticking my finger through the paper on the way over there but look how nicely they fixed it. Mary Ann said she was sure she was going to do that. I told her not to worry because I ended up doing it.
I have it provisionally in the corner in my dining room with some orange things and family heirlooms, from all different areas of the family. But I think it looks nice.
Remember that nice condo in Edmonds we were thinking about? We may go through with it. It might happen.
Picture of the pastel of my grandfather and great aunt outside (trying to avoid reflections) and in my ldining room.
