Ilana gave her boyfriend an Arduino item for xmas (that would be outside the family pick-a-name scheme).

They both seemed quite excited about it and merrily got down to work on it. Especially Matt who will graduate from the Mechanical Engineering program at the U this year.
Um, so what is it? Looks like a circuit board with all kinds of little parts.

OK, but ....
After several hours Matt shows me how he's programed it to turn a red light on and off.
Cool. I think.
