Photoessay #1564 - Stratus finally!

One of my two 'acceptances' so far with my writing was at Stratus a new literature and arts journal that University of Washington Professional and Continuing Education is publishing to highlight the students and teachers in their writing and arts programs.

I submitted "Winter Olympics" this summer and it was accepted and now it's out.

Kinda

You can read it online by downloading it from the link above. My piece is on pages 28-34.

But a paper copy is spendy. It's print on demand, but you can only go through this one service so you get to pay shipping and handling. Base price is $23 which will discourage your casual readers. Add on the postage and everything and you're cresting $40.

But still.

I'm ordering one copy to see what I think about ordering others for family members, etc.

Still, there it is, crazy, I like it. Looks like they did a good job putting it together.

I haven't had much time to work on writing more memoir as I'm so busy with my family history class (Maier Zunder, Middle Franconia, etc). I'm still writing to keep up with my Inner Circle group but, so far, have not been able to establish a real critical writing group. Nor have I had to spend the time trying to place my existing pieces. Which is time-consuming!!!

This all keeps me busy, very very busy.

So please look at this journal online! Cover taken from the link above.
