Photoessay #926 - Antlers of the Season

Last night we were invited to dinner at one of Dennis' relatives. Even though we've been acquainted for quite a few years, this is the first time we had been invited to their home. We had a great time, the best of this crazy twisted weekend. Lots of laughs and stories, we enjoyed each other's company quite a lot. We heard a lot about that side of the family that we didn't know about.

Beautiful house overlooking the Kent Valley. We couldn't really see it because it was pitch dark. I know it has a dramatic overlook over the Kent Valley. Built in 1922, the house that is. They joked a lot about the Moose antlers mounted above the mantel. Apparently it only has a temporary home there but it was decorated for the season. I think our host had shot the moose attached to these antlers a long time ago.

We parted with promises to get together soon. Below a picture of our host and Dennis.
