Didn't I just mention how aggressive those blackberries were? And how sneaky?
Today, with fall in full force, check out a part of my backyard next to my house. Notice the blackberries that came from SOMEWHERE in an inverted 'Y'. They extend on the left beyond Teddy's butt. Full of thorns just hanging out with the forsythia and bamboo.
Ignore dandelions and weeds. Good crop though, don't you think?
And a cute puppy too. Unfortunately Teddy has become a counter cruiser. His coat has a great sheen from all the butter he's pilfered. You know what happens to puppies who do this? Yup, they have to stay downstairs with mom.
