Matt and Ilana closed on their new home in Lafayette IN today. They are so happy, can you tell from the picture? You can buy a great house in Indiana at a very reasonable cost.
This house, 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath built in 1925 with detached garage and workshop.
And just 3 houses from where they live now. So they already know the neighborhood. In town. Complete with the old lady who had to move out. She insisted on meeting them and asking them to take care of the house.
Ilana kind of wants to get the truck all loaded up just like a longer move, drive it three houses down and unload it.
Matt's birthday was about a week ago. He said all he wanted was a house.
We were without power today AGAIN, for about 7 hours. The City Light people didn't show up until about five hours in. But they came in spades, 5 City Light trucks. Didn't hear the usual transformer explosion. Why does the transformer at the head of our street blow up regularly? Don't know
