I've been following the college softball post-season. Even entered the World Series contest put on by one of the guys in the forum I read.
The Oregon Ducks went from losing the first game of the season to being rated #1 in the country the last six weeks or so. Winning the Pac 12 title. #1 seed in the post-season tournament. They won their Regional with no losses. And today they won their Super Regional. So off to the Women's World Series. And get this, they are the only Pac 12 team in the series. What? How can that be? The Pac owns it, right? Many years they send 5 out of the 8 places.
But not this year. To everybody's shock, ASU did not advance from their regional. UCLA, Washington and Arizona lost their super-regionals.

The contest? Since just about everybody including me picked ASU as one of their five teams, out of the thirty people who were left, only six are left. I was the only one who picked Kentucky who upset UCLA in the super regional. So I'm still in there. But I only win if Kentucky wins the whole darn thing. But I'm an Oregon fan!
