Photoessay #2918 - Kai

Meet Kai, a six year old Golden Retriever, who belongs to Megan's dad.  He's living with us for a few months.  Megan's dad did not realize that 120 days had to elapse after his last shot before he could go to Hawaii.  So he has to wait until mid September until he can join his owner on the Big Island.

Kai, sweet and friendly, is a little confused.  He's glad to meet us and be with Megan and all. He gets along with Teddy (he's about twice the size of Teddy with all of that fur) and he understands that cats are the boss. It's been a great visit.  But when does he get to go home?

I don't know how it will all work out over the course of the summer but, for now, it's fine.
