Photoessay #1055 - The wedding presents

We still have Jonathan's wedding presents from his wedding Labor Day Weekend. Or some of them; the ones brought to the actual wedding. They had online registries posted on their website and many (including myself) could shop from the websites which include if somebody else has already purchased that gift and have them wrapped and sent. Yes, great technology. But still, I've always enjoyed the pretty wedding gifts. From this, we might conclude that gift bags are definitely IN. And yes, I do believe the cooler is a wedding present.

I heard that their Mexican honeymoon would last 10 days so, pretty soon now, somebody will come looking for them, yes?

I showed them to 9 year old Melina the other weekend and you could tell that she would really like to open them.

Ilana reports that she was able to use something in class almost right away. In her document preservation class, they discussed different paper characteristics. She did think, now WHEN would she really have to know that? Answer? 20 minutes! At her job in the Law Library, her boss said that some publishers claimed to use acid-free paper but how could you tell? Ilana piped up that she had just learned in class that you could get a special pen that would measure that. Really? They will get one in the law library. Going good!
