Photoessay #1061 - Taking Care of Business

This morning, I went with Danny to help him take care of some personal financial business. He was all ready to accomplish a task that seemed so much harder until he really started in on it. Involved a bank branch and post office in sleepy Mountlake Terrace. Really quiet there even on the main drag. Many locations on the main street available; lots vacant.

I've always had good experiences in this bank branch. They helped us work out how to handle the money and also worked with Danny to finish his paperwork. By the end, they recognized that he was accomplishing a significant task and even had a little recognition event right there in the branch. He was taken slightly aback but you have to take your celebrations where you find them.

Then across the street to the little post office with just one or two people and stuck back in the corner. Again, the staff was very helpful. Lot of filling forms out but we both started in on it and pretty soon all of the envelopes were ready to go.

Shot of Danny during his little event and the post office. What's the most important part of Mountlake Terrace? The pool and the dog park, of course! MLT is located just to the north of us. Takes only six minutes to drive to the dog park.
