Today's been very busy, working with the financial people (could I be a sucker for dividends?), a meeting down at juvenile court for UW's Juvenile Justice 101 designed to provide supporting information to parents, catching up on everything else, take dog to dog park, then going to a team meeting that turned out to be cancelled, watching the softball World Series in the background, soon to go to swimming class. And I've got to write this blog!
Want to return to Yamadera in Yamagata Prefecture in northern Japan. An ancient temple way up on the mountain. We went with Nobuko's friend, very gracious lady who accompanied us on much of our siteseeing. Very fit. She does this walk regularly. And the monk at the top of the mountain where I bought the trinkets. I knew they were overpriced trinkets supposedly made by the monks. But I bought them at the top of Yamadera!! And another view of the mountains from the temple complex.
