Formal shot taken of my parents when they moved into the Wesley Willows complex. 2003? Not sure but I think it's part of the welcoming process.
My father passed away in 2007, age 79, my mother in 2010 (3 1/2 weeks ago) age 85.
What strikes me emotionally about this picture....Where are my parents? Why aren't they here? Where can I find them? They could be troublesome, judgmental and annoying but they were good fair people who loved their family. They're my parents and they should be here. I don't want them gone. What is up with that? That's not right, should not happen.
It's not the grief, it's the loss....
