Another day at hospital

Today, I took the Wesley Willows van to and from the hospital. Weather still very sketchy. But, like at home, once you get to the main road (in this case Rockton Ave), the pavement was bare and wet.

My mom gets a little better every day. However, most everything I did was judged to be wrong. Only one pain come-apart and even she realized that it was more due to anxiety. Not that she doesn't have a lot of pain, she does. Dr. Rogers came by and told her that he was aiming to move her to the skilled nursing at Wesley Willows on Monday. Very good news. She immediately had me make a list of everything she would need. I have dutifully packed the bag trying to make her be very specific about just what she wanted. Undoubtedly, it will be wrong.

Her friend Wilma came by and we went to lunch down in the cafeteria. Wilma has helped us out SO many times. Also her neighbor Helen who I always enjoy.

I did take some pictures on the ward and was immediately busted in no uncertain terms. I mostly wanted to show the activity level on the ward (very busy). Also to document the computer work station in the patient's rooms which governs everything they do; mounted on the wall in such a way that it always hit you in the back as you went around the bed.

I've been glad to be of service and spell my siblings. I'm grateful to help my mom as I can. My sibs had jobs that they needed to go back to after the New Year's holiday. My brother described my current job as a very slow moving train wreck...
