I somehow stole (um, used without permission) this great picture from the Eugene Register Guard. Really just about the best moment from yesterday's game against UCLA. There weren't a lot of great moments, actually. UCLA's Julie Burney sent this ball over the fence for another UCLA home run as the Ducks lost 6-0. But no, it doesn't go over the fence because Sari Jane, reaches up and grabs the ball just as it's going over. And holds on. A great catch Sari!!
The Ducks continued the inning by making a double play. But they couldn't capitalize on their momentum and they couldn't hit any of the UCLA pitchers.
