Photoessay #510 - The dumpling house again

In the last gasp of holiday dinners, our extended family went out with some of the Garrisons to the Fu Man Dumpling House in the North Greenwood area. Hey, the color of the walls is good enough fun, don't you think? Honoring Monica's (in gray sweatshirt in right foreground) visit from Boston. I tried to engage Perry in conversation about organizing workers into unions. Unfortunately, it looks pretty grim and impossible given everything.

But the dinner tasted good. Plenty of wonton, dumplings, green onion pancakes and cow mein noodles. I had totally forgotten how weird the leek pancakes were. Perry and I came to an agreement on the bill though I was responsible for 8, he for 3. That is part of having a large family of 4 adults, you end up with large bills. Still glad to have everybody there with a few of their friends.

One thing I'm thinking about. I will NOT work in an organization which seeks to motivate by fear. No way. I have no time for that. Don't need it, nope.

One thing I do need though. A dog, a babypie dog.
