We lost our power on xmas eve for six hours and we planned to go to the greater Gs. We went anyway just for little holiday gettogether, they put out a great spread on Linda's side of the townhouse.
We played Yahtzee (haven't played that in YEARS). Here Ilana and Janine play. They had a fancy containter thingie. I found with my bifocals I had a hard time distinguishing the number of dots on the dice. Yikes! I'm blaming it on the bifocals anyway.

Last year we went to the greater G's for New Year's Eve. Ilana wanted to do it again but at our house this time. Somehow she has gotten up to 14 people. I'm going to be running parent group earlier in the evening. They can start without me. I am terrible about little hors'deurves things (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) but may we will go up to Trader Joe's or Costco or something.
The snow is still so bad here but finally melting. Our cul de sac was NEVER plowed so it's just a mess of ridged melting snow and ice. We're still running our chains, Dennis and I went down to Albertsons, bumping and sliding our way out of our street and then rumbling along on the chains on dry pavement. We are going to dinner at the Js this evening. I said I would bring a lemon pie but Albertsons had NO lemons, NONE! So I made pumpkin instead.
