Every day is supposed to be the last day. But even today, it snowed in the afternoon. This morning, Dennis ended up taking Ilana all the way home and he said it was the worst ever in our cul de sac. There is so much unplowed snow and it's partially melted and frozen many times, there are deep ruts of ice. A mess! He could barely get back to our house even though he was driving with chains.
Tomorrow it's supposed to be more seasonally warmer and finally, maybe, I can get to the store etc. No sense going out if you don't really have to.
Picture from yesterday (chistmas day) when it was snowing aGAIN and Danny and Jessica did not think they could get here. But they did.
It's melting you can tell but we still have PLENTY of snow.
Curious, my sister lives in Indiana where they have lots of midwestern snow but she doesn't have chains or snow tires, just regular tires like we have. But the municipalities plow and salt the streets and people know to shovel their own places.
Here, nothing, just mass helplessness. But this has been going on for two weeks!
