Photoessay #491 - Shadow retrospective

The hardest time I have is now, the late afternoon, when I'm thinking that it's time to walk the dog and I look for her.

Sometimes I'm bargaining (maybe if we did an xray, it would not have been as bad as the vet said but, her clinical condition was terrible) and depression (I could never have a dog as good as Shadwow)

I'm sure I have more pictures but heres' something from around 1994. I think that might be my mother in the foreground. The girls are looking out the front window at something, maybe squirrels? Looks like summer because of the leaves. Dennis has some baldness but his hair is still brown.

Note: the tree with the red leaves and all of the furniture except the piano is gone. We've got different furniture but no tree. Same carpet but it's going.

But look at those pets. Frank, the cat, I wrote about him the other day. A prince of a cat, he was always around the kids. He made sure that he knew what they were doing and he was always nearby. And a young Shadow, just a few years old. She also always wanted to be with the family. She was where we were. Always the most important to her. Also she's watching me taking the picture. She always kept track of me. Look how her coat was so glossy and her coloring so definite.

I miss my dog!
