The view from my front window in the late afternoon. There's been snow her since Saturday. Some yesterday evening. But today, it started really coming down all through the metropolitan area. Dennis' work opened two hours late and then they sent everybody home around noon. Fortunately Dennis didn't go in at all. School's closed again for the second day. A miserable commute out there. Buses getting stuck. We don't have to go anywhere AND we have our power. That's a good thing. I'm disappointed, I didn't go to swimming last Tnursday because I was so exhausted with the training. I didn't go on Tuesday because I got stuck at the cell phone store for Naomi's birthday. And I can't go tonight. Then the deepwater classes don't start up for a whole month!!! Aaack!
And no dog to walk. I'm pleased that Dennis agrees that we will get another dog someday. I got a very nice handwritten card from the vet signed by everybody in the office.
Please accept our sympathies for the loss of Shadow. She was a very special girl and she will be much missed.
They likely send a card out like this every time; it was very sweet. I miss my baby-pie. I know that's a dumb nickname but I called her that. I know she was a 100 pound brown and black Shepherd something but she was my baby-pie. I know, I know I was a major sobber down at the vet that day.
Look at all that snow. I know the best thing to do is to STAY HOME. Seattle just falls apart at the seams (and everywhere else when it snows).
Nice view of the stained glass piece in the subdued light
