Thanksgiving is coming up, one of my main holidays. I admit that I have almost killed off Christmas but we embrace Thanksgiving. Ilana is fully invested with all of the planning (19 people! Where are we going to put them? We will figure it out, we will, we will)
She said today, we had a lot of people staying here last year. We did, Gowoon was here and, remember, three people were sharing your bed and none of them was you!
She laughed, yes, that's true, she agreed. ha ha, none of them were me. Gowwon was in Susanna's room, Susanna, AnnMarie and Uly were all in Ilana's room, Ilana was sleeping on the floor in the den. It worked out. Susanna laughed "You know, I can't think of too many cases where I could share a bed with my best friend and her fiance but...it worked!" Check out the picture for proof. I had a blowup bed for Uly but I think that George, the large cat, took exception to the whole deal and Uly crawled into bed with the girls. Well, who wouldn't?
Uly and AnnMarie were married in June. They live in Flagstaff where Uly is completing a master's program at Northern Arizona University for preparation for being a college academic counselor. I was so happy that they came, they will do fine in life.
In fact, the senior leadership for the 2007 UO softball team...Kristi L had the brains and the analysis, AnnMarie brought common sense, a calming influence and stability and Susanna provided the spark, fire, high spirits and excitement.
Then, my mother in law passed away at the nursing home the night before Thanksgiving. A crazy time. But, despite her passing, a lot of life and fun. This year, no exception!
