Today for our half day trip we went to the Rhodedendron Species Garden in Federal Way about 45 minutes away.. I've always wanted to go; Dennis says we have already been there. Maybe he's right! It's past rhody season (knew that going in) so there a few late blooms, But we saw some blue poppies, they were blooming. From the Himalayas,
I didn't bring a phone or a camera in so I had to use pictures from other sources to illustrate. The poppies really were this blue color.
