Snoqualmie Falls
Snoqualie Falls, who can beat it?
Since Covid started, we've been cleaning our house ourselves but still paying our housekeeper. Decided I didn't want to do that any more. She agreed to come back but we mutually agreed that we wouldn't be here when she came.
Which means we had to go somewhere else. Last week, we sent up to Bellingham, ordered some food from a Mexican grocery there and went to a park.
This week, we decided to go to one of my favorites, the Snoqualmie Valley including a park we like in Carnation that's on the Snoqualmie River which is somehow compelling. We walked across the suspension bridge (we didn't remember it swaying so much).
On the way back, who can skip Snoqualmie Falls? It's just a few miles down the road. Dennis took the picture from the observation area. It's about 40 miles from our house. See the building on the left? That's a swanky hotel. We stayed there for one night for an anniversary. Interesting, there used to be a lot more development there. Multiple hotels and a rail line.
