Congratulations to Chelsea!

Congratulations to Chelsea Spencer, new softball head coach at Cal!

She played at Cal (along with Kristina T) the same time that Susanna played at Oregon.  What a player!  She played on the Canada Cup team that Susanna played on and for at least game, they played the middle infield together.  Now that was a duo!  They both realized that they had found somebody who played as aggressively as they did.  So fun!

Then Chelsea became an assistant coach at Oregon.  She was so good to us when we went to visit.  Giving us tours of the new facility, sharing meals with us, getting us on the pass list.  We engineered a trip to Seattle Pops for the Oregon team when they played here year before last.

Then she went to Texas with Mike White.  But everybody knew she wanted the Cal job.  It came open and here she is!  Whoo Hoo!
