It's very smoky in Seattle. Really awful; we all complain about it. Sports teams cancelled practices. Everything looks hazy and smells of smoke. They did play the Everett Aquasox game last night. It affects everybody. The sun and moon both look orange; last night the moon looked like a pumpkin.
It's from the BC and Eastern Washington wildfires. Happened last year too.
I'm reminded of a quote from a young climate scientist. She said that she's asked, "Is this because of climate change?" She replies "This is what climate change looks like."
It seems better today.
