Beale Street in Memphis

We stopped in Memphis for our last stop on our Civil Rights trip.  We had a lunch and dinner in this area, Beale Street, which is a center for nightlife and the blues.  I thought  it was a little much but it was pretty fun.  Dennis and I never go out like this.  In the evening, we went into the first big place, B. B. King's Blues Club.  Big place.  Looks like a place like the Disney people would like to copy if they haven't done it already.  Curving balcony great music.  I image the really good acts get booked in the big places.  Good music on the street, too; apparently everybody wants to play on Beale Street.

Here we are listening.  Found that I couldn't hear too clearly afterwards.
