Eclipse selfie

Here's Dennis and I this morning doing an eclipse selfie in our front yard.  It looks like something we shouldn't have done.  The light in our neighborhood really looked like this for a short time.  We were at about 92% so you could definitely tell.  We had ad hoc eclipse gathering with Teddie, our dog and Jim, our next door neighbor.  At one point I declared that I was going 'into the field' and walked out into our street.  "It's real weird out here, I reported.  They went out an took a look.

I like the eclipse-themed light around Dennis head.

My cereal box viewer worked quite well.  At one point, Dennis had to take it in for re-engineering because we decided the hole that I had made with a push pin was too big.

Here's Teddy watching the eclipse.  He is wondering, why am I putting my head into a cereal box when there is no cereal in it?
