They knew how to do flowers then

Working to find pictures of the interior of the old building of Temple De Hirsch.  Also transcribing the interview, it was a bit rough really.  The people I was talking to had a Definite Agenda.

But I did find this picture online the Jewish Archive at the UW Special Collections.  A bride and her attendants in 1921.  I love the big wild flower bouquets they used to do.  A whole armload of flowers.  Cascading,  Probably weighed a ton.  None of this carefully arranged stuff.

Naomi is in her friend's wedding today.  That's three in the last year.  She now has bridesmaids dresses in shocking pink (raspberry?), navy blue and bright red.
