Wild Edmonds

Charl took this picture last Saturday at Edmonds Beach on Puget Sound.  That really cold blustery day when we went to the dog beach when the wind child was 16 degrees.  Teddy thought it was fine and, believe it or not, there were plenty of people at the dog beach.  The sharpened image communicates the intensity of the drama of that day.  The Sound is usually quite calm, you might see itty bitty waves like a lake.  That day, the surf boils in just beside itself with froth and spray with all of the whitecaps spreading out across the sound.  Those waves thundered in, loud and insistent just under the whistle of the strong wind.

So a dramatic image completely called for!
