Tahoe Meadows
We stayed in this cabin/bed and breakfast the two nights we stayed at Tahoe. Enjoyed it quite a bit, friendly great breakfast. Also close to the Tahoma Grocery which has great sandwiches (really you can split one). Short walk to the lake. In the neighborhood close to Dennis' family cabin. Good pizza place down the street.
Interesting that most of the other guests were from European countries or UK.
However we were there in very late September (during the King Fire) which counts as off-season. Many restaurants and activities were closed for the season or very limited. Nobody seemed to be open for dinner on Wednesday. Nothing at all in Tahoma; had to go into Tahoe City.
I spent some time in this hammock but have to admit it was darn hard to get out of it even using the walking sticks.
It's Tahoe so high prices all around off-season or not.
