Ilana Preschool

As part of Ilana week - in honor of her 28th birthday - and at her request, I will feature two preschool pictures.  One a school picture from preschool.  Cute little girl!

Ilana, as a 4 year old, really wanted to take 'ballet'.  So I signed her up for a beginner class at the local place.  She loved it.  Now, Ilana in class, was her own ballerina.  What she did during class did not conform to what the teacher was tryng to do.  Whatsoever.  She was, as usual, in her own rich imagination world.  Ponyland, we called it.  She twirled and posed, her very own dancer.  The second picture shows her in her costume for the little recital.  She loved the whole deal.  In the recital, she hardly ever followed the program for the other dancers.  Just did her own thing up there to her own delight.

Always her own person.  I always said, that Ilana was never affected by peer pressure; took her direction from the sky.

Love that girl!
