Photoessay #2873 - Back from Ellensburg

I prefer the view of the Cascades from the east.  The west is more lush, yes, but often you are driving through the clouds as the mountains keep the moisure on the west side.  Obscures your view.

I took this shot driving east on I-90 after Naomi's graduation last Sunday.  You can see the clouds being blocked by the mountains.  Characteristically it's dry and sunny on the eastisde and cloudy and drizzling in Seattle.

It's hard to remember that it's actually summer in other places.  Good weather for the wedding, I appreciate it.  But since then, the temperature hasn't much crested 65 degrees and mostly cloudy and rainy.
