Last night, at my swimming class, a thrown beachball (from the nearby 'river' area) hit me in the back of the head. That ball was thrown hard. Usually this wouldn't really harm anyone. But, given my upper back condition, it harmed me. That area is not well-supervised and it was only a matter of time before that happened. Often the balls come into our deep water area by mistake.
I could feel all of the parts of my back scream out. Trouble! Trouble! I reacted quite angrily. I knew I was in trouble. And so, today, I had an emergency doctor visit where she worked on my back, some homeopathic treatments. I had to reschedule a dentist appt. This morning, I really couldn't even write on the computer. I'm better now in the afternoon. At least, I'm writing this!
But I'm not sure how to proceed at the pool. I cannot go back to just figuring it's ok because I know that a thrown beach ball can hit me and cause damage.
We'll see.....
