Photoessay #2424 - Catching up with Teddy

For my dog fans out there, I thought I would share some of Teddy's experiences this summer as the season winds down.

Lots of people here this summer which translates into lots of fetch.  Teddy never tires of fetching that ball and dropping it at your feet.  It is his reason for being on this earth.  Besides following me around everywhere and greeting guests in an extreme manner.  He loves to leap up to get that ball.  The other evening, Naomi and I tried to get some pictures of Teddy leaping.  Pretty tough with your basic digital camera.  We have a lot of empty frames.  And the light was weird.  This was the best we could do.  From his ears, he's coming down rather than going up.

And he still has to put up with that silly cat Starbaby who makes him sunbathe with her.  He doesn't have ANY say about it.  Just when he finds a nice place in the sun, she's right there next to him, rubbing against him and everything.  Nothing he can do about it.  Good thing he likes kitties.

Now no comments about the state of my lawn.  As my cousin's husband (who has a beautiful yard) says, "What do you think you're watering?   There's nothing there!  At all!"  True that, I can't even seem to manage dandelions and moss which was my previous ground cover out there.
